GEMSTONES WE USE |
Cabochon:
A gemstone which has a smoothly rounded polish. The top is dome shaped and the bottom has a flat or curved base. (The dome shaped portion looks like a colored crystal ball to me. I love the smooth feeling of Cabochons, and the glow that radiates from the cabochon is beautiful.)
Facet:
A facet on a finished gemstone is a flat polished surface. Many facets on a gemstone, make it sparkle beautifully. (Many of the stones that I put in my jewelry are beautifully faceted gemstones.)
